Anybody had the pleasure of buying a new Moto-Cy / Scooter recently?
Looking to buy one at Xmas but not sure of best place / price / model / etc.
...Looked at a new model Honda in July at a newly established dealer in Nong Han. Salesman seemed Ok (spoke perfect French and Good English) but didn't want to move at all on Price.
Any tips of what kind of deal is possible appreiciated.
Cheers,
Deano.

Tough one Dino and not enough information...
If you're familiar with and comfortable on motorcycles, I'd recommend the Kawasaki Boss or Honda Phantom in the 200 cc range. A bit more expensive but you'll appreciate the comfort and convenience of being able to make short trips like Nam Bua or Nong Khai without problems. On the other hand, if you're less experienced, just go for the smaller, fully automatic units for 'town' convenience. The Yamaha Fino seems to be very popular at the moment.
Unless you are a serious road-tripper, you probably don't want anything over 400 cc - not too convenient for city driving.
Like I said, you didn't give us enough information. :-"

Didn't give too much info as not really sure what I want . However to fill some gaps;
I've had big bikes before 1000cc (in UK) so no problems with handling the power or size.
Am def looking for a Scooter and not a 'real' Motor Bike, but on the other hand will want to use it for both zipping around town and the odd blast from Udon to Nong Han.
Did see the Yam Fino but looked a bit girly. (Don't know if there is such a thing as a man's Scooter )
..An Auto would suit but not sure what engine size they come in. Also not sure of what kind of price. Think the last one I looked at was around B40K.
Thanks
