Next weekend is Easter in the Uk. Has anyone seen where I can get a chocolate Easter egg or bunny in Udon and for myself I would love a real cinnamon Hot Cross Bun?Do you think its possible?

Lotus Tesco have a remarkably good facsimile of a cinnamon hot cross bun (no cross but it tastes the same), at least they did last week.

As for the chocolate bunny you desire...hmmmm... :-k

I had 2 hot cross buns for lunch today...freshly baked out of the oven :) , cut in half to cool to just a nice warmth, and then loaded with heaps of beautiful Kiwi butter....they were bloody awesome :) :) :)

Chocolate bunnies....aahhhh....have one in the fridge now, just nicely chilled, but as we speak having coffee with marshmallow easter egg....aahhh....happiness is....

Okay guys, you've achieved your objective of making me feel pig sick with your tales of munching those chocolate bunnies and hot cross buns but I'll try not to worry too much as I lie here having a head to tail body massage by a beautiful, long haired Thai girl, my wife. :D

Hi BM and all. I'm in the UK, just killing time before setting off back to Heathrow later this afternoon, for my return flight (with EVA) to Bangkok. It's cold and wet here.

The flights from Bangkok to Udon are all full until friday, so I may have to stay over in BK for a night or two. I hope it will be drier there!

I'll see if I can pick up an egg whilst at Heathrow.

Rj :D

I've seen cinamon rolls at City Lodge. Maybe Deiter at the German Bakery, he does some good pastries. He also sells chunks of Belgian Chocolate. I'm getting hungry.

The German Bakery is on the road behind the shopping complex (Adunyadet Road).
