If you want to sharpen up on your culinary skills/creations;

Daiso shop (one at UD town, which I believe is only open evenings and one in Central Plaza - open when the Plaza is open).

Small kitchen scales which can weigh up to 1 kg, and a strong plastic ice cream scoop both 60 baht. (A metal scoop is 250 baht in Big C and the plastic one is equally as good).

Chinese cash and carry near Tesco Lotus Nadee.

Wooden pepper mill/grinder small 122 baht and medium less than 200 hundred baht (Cheapest I've seen in Udon). Didn't see large size.

Had a couple of these from said shop at the weekend. Awesome and IMO better than Thai Mango. Also make a nice iced drink in the blender. After the stone and skin is removed obviously.

In my Garden is a big Mango tree. Everyday I picked up the fallen ones, and pulped them up in a blender.
I have about eighty bags in the freezer.Nice smoothies!

Watch out though, as the McVities, as shown @64 baht, is not a special price, even Tops has them at this price. Tesco does put out some "non price reduced" items on these end of lane tables, which are not actually bargains. I will check out the Lindt chocolate, if I can get in to town.
