Big C own brand at 22 baht(180g) works out about same price?

Dewars White label Whisky

Post by trubrit » June 3, 2015, 9:13 am

It would seem there is a promotion going on with Dewar's White label Scotch. In Big C Nadee. Buy two 70cl bottles for 975bht. In the original Tesco's , one bottle 499bht .It's a nice middle of the road blended Scotch .either is a big saving on list price . \:D/
Ageing is a privilige denied to many .

The big Tesco Lotus Extra (opposite SB Furniture) also has many other offers,at the moment.
Notably......

Ferro Rocher chocolates (big size) 450 baht to 225 baht.....ideal gift for the wife, girlfriend, mia noi or boyfriend but a tad expensive if you buy for all four.....dont be ashamed to buy a box and pig out on it yourself ! 8)
Ayam Baked Beans Light (small size) 25 baht to 12 baht
Ahmad of London :-s Earl Grey Tea (25 sachets) 119 baht to 59 baht
Tesco Donuts....45 baht,buy 1 get 1 free
Essence Liquid Detergent....47 baht,buy 1 get 1 free

Also, when I was at the checkout the very pleasant cashier said to me "Sir,did you know at the moment if you have a Tesco Clubcard for every 300 baht you spend you get 40 baht off ? Would you like me to split your bill ?"
Of course I said "yes, please" and I ended up saving 120 baht off my bill ! =D> this,on top of the discounts above.
But I dont think all the checkout girls would be as forthcoming telling you this,so when you go to the checkout it might well be worth mentioning this deal yourself before your shopping starts going down the conveyor belt.
Just when I thought our chance had passed, you go and save the best for last.

Morti - have you tried the big tin's of 'Hope' Baked Beans? Big can is 30 baht at the old Big C in the imported goods/Cereal section and the one I always buy. They don't taste too sweet either.
