Went yesterday, 1st strange thing I saw was there seemed to be no traffic on street where LandMark is across from Bangkok Bank, around 3PM.
Spent about an hour, (sent the wife roaming the Mall, she buys stuff not caring about price), spent 347.50 baht. Would have been 400, but cash out disappeared 2 of my items, 2 dish towels, seemed to be of a better quality than what I have and only 25 baht ea. 2 or 3 cash outs open, no line, all empty, I just picked the wrong one, she had a hard time entering 507.50 baht, what I gave her. Few customers. Problem I had was too many workers blocking the way.
While looking at beer selection, around 3:30, ask if I could buy, or needed to wait til 5PM, they said no problem. I didn’t test it, figured none of the 4 or 5 workers camped out there understood a word I said.
For beef, they seem to carry “French Thai Beef”, which I get at other place, I guess I did not look that closely, saw nothing else. Will go back soon and try “French Thai Beef” Hamburg and maybe a steak or 2.
The main problem I see is parking, and how the fu*ck you will get a full grocery cart back to your car, its like the old Tops. On the other hand, you can still spend 2k baht and get it all into 1 small plastic bag.
