Be careful when using Old Tesco frozen food

Three times in the last couple of weeks I have had to throw away a frozen "ready meal" purchased from the Old Tesco.

One could be unlucky, two could have been a bad batch, but THREE has me wondering if stuff has been allowed to thaw/part thaw whilst their re modelling was being done, and then re frozen and placed back on the shelves.

Just a "heads up" if you have got stuff in your freezer, have a sniff after cooking BEFORE taking a big mouthfull :-&

Classic Thaw and re- freezng scenario

Tesco Lotus use Fox as their carrier all over Thailand, its an Oz logistics firm and there chiller / freezer units have temp control graphs etc

Im sure Tesco Lotus would reject any graph / delivery if outside the safe temp limits

May I suggest you return the goods to the Service Desk, seal the bags first.

Ask for the temp logs for their freezers, for the week before your purchase, You did keep the receipt right LOL

Oh No weciept no weturn solly

Leave the smelly item , ( having opened it ) turn up the decibels in your rejection of their excuse , and dump it on the floor.

What would work, is an email to their HQ, addressed to their HSE Compliance manager and mention issues such as HACCP !

Jon from the new TIT store mentioned he will have frozen ready made meals when they open.
Might be worth a try and see the menu.
