Post by Mosquito » January 28, 2019, 10:54 am

Anyone know where I can get the flint and fluid for a zippo lighter?

Ngeesoon carries ronson fluid......and most street-side watch repair shops recharge lighters with fluid. I'd guess they carry flints as well.

Think Parrot is talking about "Gas"

Is Zippo still in business? Only Zippo I have ever seen took "lighter fluid" not Gas, and the last time I saw that was in the 80's or 70's when I had one.
It also needs a flint for the spark, also last seen in the 80's/70's

Think Bic put them out of business?

But to answer your question, seen neither in Udon and would think would have a problem in the states?

zippo's still open for business. that's the correct fluid/gas for a zippo.

flint might be the only issue, flint similar as a #2 pencil lead about a 1/4 inch in length.

I don't think the Ronson lighter fluid is very good. I quit using my trusty Zippo lighter because it had to be refilled at least every other day. I went so far as to replace the wick and cotton and that didn't help.

I went to basic training in 1963. I bought a Zippo with my name, date and company number engraved into it. I carried that lighter for many years and somehow lost it. A few years after losing it, a guy stopped my dad and asked him if this old ragged lighter belonged to his son. Apparently the guy found it laying in the dirt. The insides were all corroded.

I sent it to Zippo and they took out the dents as well as they could, totally rebuilt the lighter and sent it back to me. No charge. The lifetime guarantee is indeed legitimate. I still have it laying around here somewhere. I haven't used it for several years.

Guess it's Lazada, thxs.

Didn't think they'd allow lighter fluid to be shipped, wrong as usual.
