I have two sets of tables and chairs that stay outside all year, as a consequence they have developed black marks all over. Rthese won't come off with normal cleaning. does anyone know how I can remove the stains?

A friend of mine who was in the uPVC window business told me to forget it when I was trying to clean a white plastic table - a few years ago in the UK. Apparently they use recycled plastic and after a couple of seasons outdoors - it loses it whiteness.
he actually used 'virgin' plastic for his windows (Rehau) which is why they strayed bright white for years. I dont know what your stains are - but you might be flogging a dead horse trying to shift the marks.
