I dont know of any shops in Udon that sell ATVs, but do NOT buy a chinese one, stick with Honda or Yamaha

you cant use one on the roads here, unless it has 3 wheels

Go to Big C. Enter from the Undercover Car Park and turn left. Continue in a Straight Line until you Trip over an ATV. They are the Chinese Variety :D

a big shop on phosi road - when you go from the center, it is on the left hand, around tung si muang and nong prajak lake, maybe a little bit longer

Suggest you go with a recognized brand name. These things, if poorly designed, can be death, even in capable hands.

I had a Big Red Honda quad for years, went with my job, but it was gutless automatic, much prefer the Suzuki with the gear selector on the tank, so can choose 2x2 or 4x4..these handle towing a quad trailer full of firewood in the mud. if the trailer has wide wheels all the better..go for one that is easy to get parts for, and dont let the kids ride it..I am fed up hearing of all the kids that die while driving daddy's quad on the farm..

I can pull a trailer with my 200 cc in the mud no problem, has a tow hitch fitted! Also carted Eucolyptus logs out easy! Decided not to sell it anyway, good hunting and safe quad biking, it is great fun in the countryside! \:D/

ATV's are classified as "tuk tuk's" and therefore do not require registration licenses!

Although you can use them in town, these bikes are really for off road riding!

That is not entirely true. ATV's cannot be registered in Thailand and are therefore not legal to drive on the road. You will be at the mercy of any officer in the neighborhood who may just want to increase his tea money. Or someday they might decide to follow the law and confiscate all illegal vehicles. Not likely as yet but entirely possible.

I took mine to the traffic office and they advised 'tuk tuk' no licence required!!!! I have never been asked for it after that and that was 3 years ago! Of course I carry my bike licence with me.

Anyway, as I said before, these are off road bikes and I would not recommend anyone to buy one just to ride in town?

Don't do it. Anything under 80,000 baht is made-in-China junk that will be nothing but a headache for you unless you are mechanically inclined and enjoy that kind of thing.
