How do you get a 1-year Vsa in Bangkok? I do a lot of business with China & go about 5 times a year. I tried to apply for a 1-year Multiple entry visa in Bangkok a couple years ago. I had a Chinese factory send them a sponsorship letter. The Chinese Embassy told me I can only apply in my home country (USA). Mainly I go to Shanghai, Ningbo, Zhousan, Wenling, Wenzhou, Xiamen.... in Shanghai you can get a viusa on arrival BUT you cannot travel outside Shanghai. Thanks

They (China) particularly like to keep tabs on US passport holders - understandable I guess when you look at the tabs the US wants to keep on Chinese passport holders :D Brazil has the same mind-set.

In diplomatic circles I understand it is called tit-for-tat.

After all, to quote the great GWB, "if you're not with us, you're against us"
