Seating on Tiger Airways

Post by jackspratt » March 5, 2007, 11:37 am

As you may know, Tiger is now allowing you to pay extra for a seat of your choice on Perth/Singapore and return flights (hopefully this will extend to other flights in the future).

Having never flown on Tiger, but I am now booked on a Perth/Sing flight in early April, I would appreciate any comments on the seating.

The plan on their website shows extra room (ie bigger pitch) at row 1 (which is the bulkhead) and rows 12 & 13, which are the emergency exit rows. Can anyone who has flown with Tiger remember if there is much difference in the legroom between row 1, and rows 12/13.

Any information much appreciated.

I can not answer your question but if it is a usual, row 12 seat will not lean back at all or it will be blocking an exit. That is the way in the US and I am not sure here but might be something to check out.
