Maybe not a good time to book Air Asia - although this does allude to their Malaysian company

It may be relevant that they're taking ages to put just 1000 baht in my credit shell, concerning a cancelled flight I booked for a friend - and that was after asking me for proof that I was the payee, although not the passenger.

Now received below. I've provided all information required already. Delaying tactics? I haven't attempted the 'new' system' yet. Oh no, not another queue and automated system!
"Dear valued guest,
We are reaching out to update you on your recent request for a credit account with us. Whilst we are actively processing your case, we found out that some information is incomplete. We are pleased to inform you about a new feature available through our virtual Allstar AVA that was launched last week - our same day credit account. Meanwhile, we would like to encourage you to re-submit a new case through AVA with the correct details of the following: Booking/PNR number Member ID that belongs to you or passengers in the booking This will ensure that you receive your credit on the same day you apply. Unfortunately this is new technology and cannot be automatically applied to your original case. Please chat with AVA here to make your request and follow the steps in the link here <https://support.airasia.com/s/article/H ... uage=en_GB

Ah, no in my case, told I'll have to wait another 10 days for checks to be made. Given a new reference number.
I was going to 'let rip' at the customer satisfaction survey emailed to me at the same time. But only two questions and I think a choice of two answers - something like 1) were they friendly? 2) did I get things resolved? Shame, I was planning an essay!
