Inoculations in Udon

Post by tamada » December 1, 2019, 7:10 pm

It looks like my Yellow Fever, Hepatitis A Booster and combo Polio/Diphteria/Tetanus jabs all expire this month. What's the best one-stop hospital in Udon to let them play darts with me?!

I was scheduled to go to West Africa but it got cancelled For Yellow Fever had to be done in Bangkok as far as I could find out

Not sure but never heard of Polio being part of the combo, normally it's Pertussis/Diphtheria/Tetanus.

Yes, I think that one is more 'controlled' than others. I did get a Typhoid booster a couple of years back at the Bangkok Hospital here. I will pop by and ask later today. Last time was a challenge just getting the simple query 'can you do it?' answered as they insisted I needed to sign it, get my vital signs logged and wait to see the doctor before I could ask him!

Here's an update on what's available in Udon (cheapest bolded).

Yellow Fever: AEK Udon. Bangkok Hospital no have.
Hep A: BH and AEK.
Td-IPV: AEK has DTaP/IPV. BH only have Tetanus jabs.
Meningitis ACYW-135: BH and AEK.

Bamrungrad Bangkok has 'em all and costs more (but we knew they would already).
