555 DM the smells. I did some research on AFs. The top manufactures are Ninja and Philips. The Ninja edged out the Philips in the ratings but was 24K compared to the Philips that was 9,989K for the same capacity and features, on Lazada. Loads of recipes on YouTube.

Been considering getting an airfryer recently but have been put off by the amount of "ante" videos that have been produced.
Not too sure what to believe but it appears they are just overpriced convector ovens.
One vid (from Singapore) cooked food in an air fryer and deep fried identical amounts and then took them to a lab to be tested, suffice to say the chicken had about 20 % less fat in the air fryer but lost its deep fried texture, the fish has virtually no difference in fat content whichever way you cooked it, and although the chips had about 50% less fat, they contained a ridiculous amount of some known cancer producing chemical which registered 10ppm in deep fried and 4000ppm in the air fryer
I assume you are talking about the cancer causing chemical acrylamide, classified as group 2A carcinogen. Any method of cooking that produces the charred look has this chemical. The trick with an AF is not to char the food. Can you imagine the acrylamide produced by a charcoal grill used in many Thai households? Yikes!!

Looks very tasty, at first look i thought it was some individual of cheese dishes such as lasagna. Our Lumberjack days are behind us, bacon, cheese, potatoes, sauce quite fitting for a working lumberjack but a tad too much for retirees. Is this for a week ? Bacon, cheese, potatoes, and most sauces cannot be considered being very healthy unless you limit the portion sizes.
Great post. Thanks.
Stay safe.
Stay healthy.
Have a nice weekend.

Jepp T-M,Lungerjack days was a loooong time ago,but i stay fit so some of above food is okey.Cranberry "sause"is homemade..Cranberrys and Coconut sugar (it has a better Glycemic Index then refined white sugar),that's it.Jepp,it's for a week, but usually less ;-)I forgot to say in that i added some cheese to the bacon..think of it like pizza toppings, just try whatever you like..Funny you mention Lasanga, that's for tomorrow..hehe.And like everything else in life...moderation is the key..;-)

Take care my friend and have a nice weekend too...:-)...//Alfie

Good evening.
Dinner tonight: Salmon, veggies, edamame, buns. A bit more healthy than BACON.
Your bread looks scrumptious.
Stay safe and healthy.

Banana oatmeal pancakes made right in the blender! These fluffy healthy pancakes are naturally gluten free, dairy free and contain no flour or added sugar. Get ready for a simple yet delicious breakfast!
Ingredients
2 medium ripe bananas (best when they have lots of brown spots)
2 eggs
1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 ½ cups old fashioned rolled oats, gluten free if desired
2 teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
¼ teaspoon salt
Olive oil, for cooking
Instructions
Add all of the ingredients to a blender and blend on high until completely smooth, about 30 seconds to 1 minute. Let the batter sit in your blender while you heat your pan up.
Lightly coat a griddle with coconut oil, vegan butter or olive oil and place over medium heat. Once pan is hot, add 1/3 cup of the batter to the griddle for each pancake and cook for 2-4 minutes until pancakes slightly puff up and you see a few bubbles along the edges.
Flip cakes and cook until golden brown on underside. If you find that pancakes are browning too quickly then you need to lower the heat. I normally start on medium heat, then decrease to medium low later so that my pancakes don't burn. If at any point your griddle starts smoking, it means your pan is too hot.
Wipe skillet clean and repeat with more oil and remaining batter. Makes 9 pancakes total. Serves 3, 3 pancakes each.
