drinking water testing

Post by NongKhaiLee » January 8, 2022, 11:23 am

Does anyone have information on having drinking water tested? I have been looking at the testers available on Lazada (TDS & EC Meters) but am not really sure if they are safe to rely on. Any ideas would be appreciated.

We've had our well water tested 3 times over the past 25 years at the Regional Medical Science Center in Nonsung, just south of the driver's license/testing office. It's been a few years since we've had it tested, so can't be sure they're still doing it. Phone 042-207-370/364/367 http://rmsc8.dmsc.moph.go.th/ We've always been able to get a full English analytical report. Tested for ph, solids, chloride, hardness, nitrate, iron, lead, coliforms, ecoli, and pathogenic bacteria. You can add other tests as needed.

I notice that the Udon Provincial Water Works department does water testing.......but don't know the details of how they operate. https://gisweb1.pwa.co.th/labcluster/

drilling down through that PWA link and their lab is supposed to be just off the East Ring Road not far from the Big C overpass here: https://www.google.co.th/maps/@17.39596 ... !1e3?hl=en That's a lot closer than driving all the way out to Non Soong... :D

Good link Dave. That's their large offices at the turn-off into Romyen. It's also where you can also pay your bills if you've missed the 7-eleven quick payment option.

If you get your water tested, it'd be nice to post an update with current info. Thanks
