region, hitherto unknown, in african subcontinent
or ,alternatively the wuhan fish market

( you know the place, the one next to the top secret lab, where they play with bats&pigs virus strains)

Contrary to rumor, UFES isn't likely to be the source of any local monkeypox outbreak.

"Monkeypox cases in Spain have been linked to a superspreader event at an adult sauna in Madrid. ...

Three cases in Belgium have also been linked to a large-scale fetish festival in Antwerp, according to organisers. ...

Darklands is a ticketed event that describes itself as a place where “various tribes in the gay fetish community (leather, rubber, army, skinhead, puppies...) come together to create a unique spectacle of fetish brotherhood”. ..

Sources have told The Telegraph that an internationally advertised gay party in Spain is also being investigated as the root cause of the global monkeypox cases."

Needless to say, from next week, new arrivals/members will be asked to furnish proof that they haven't been to Spain or Belgium or been playing with puppies.

PS: Out of an abundance of caution, the sauna will be closed until further notice.

It doesn't necessarily come from these kinds of sources. The intensive farming practices of modern agriculture are a major risk too.

I read the details of how this was initially transmitted from Scientific led research in Africa.
Transmission is basically the same via water droplets , so mask wearing is now back on the table , although in truth for myself it has certainly never left the table when out and about.
Chicken Pox like infection, spots and skin rashes culminating in scabs and falling off eventually. "- 4 weeks , treat in my book the same as Chicken Pox, wash all items worn or used by the patient, isolate if possible in a family, wear PPC if required.
Deaths are not uncommon, but rare in normal healthy people.
Close association with some animals is to be avoided .

due to the lack of monkeys in Europe the chances of it coming out of deepest Belgium would be slim. there has always been issues when humans come into contact with animal. nothing new ,just gets reported more

Please enlighten us as to how you come up with your theory that Monkey Pox is/could be a result of Intensive Farming practices. Are you saying that if we all start to grow vegetables in our gardens Monkey Pox will disappear?

KP would appear to be of lowest risk if gardening is a decent prophylaxis.

He's a salty old sea dog and Officer IC Ships Guns. I'll wager he's travelled up the river on a Steamer looking for Mr Kurtz.

He was actually on assignment with the Missing Persons squad, and searching for Charlie Allnut and Miss Sayer.
