The owner of TJ's resturant died this morning

Tommy Thompson a long time resident of Udon Thani, a member of POST VFW Post 10249 and the past service officer of the POST After a prolonged illness died this morning. He was the originator of TJ's resturant which has continued on as a family business since his illness. Passed away this morning at AEK Udon hospital

Tommy Thompson's funeral will begin at noon at Wat Pa Nong Sam Rong on Saturday, 22 July. The temple is located about 1km up the same road from TJ's restaurant, on the way to the Army golf course.

A great loss to the expats community, Udon Thani and vets of Vietnam. He will be missed by us all who knew him. May God keep his soul, Amen.

I'm sorry to hear of this, he was a good friend and good man. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. Rest in peace Tommy.
