David (Igloo) Cooper

Post by Bandung_Dero » June 26, 2022, 4:03 am

Dave, 79, passed away yesterday afternoon, peacefully, in the Udon General Hospital. He was confined to bed for many months so this event, although tragic, was not unexpected.
My sympathies to his long time wife Bua (Bualiene), beautiful daughter Paula and son Steven (UK).
Dave had lived in Thailand for some 30 years and Ban Dung for 20 odd.

RIP Good friend.

I understand that Igloo's cremation service will be held at Wat Burapawan in Ban Dung at 1.30pm tomorrow - 1 July.

Not sure whether I knew this man and wondered whether someone could post a photo, thanks

In any event, may he rest peace

Ken, there wouldn't be too many bar owners, past and present, in Udon, who didn't know Dave. He spent at least 2-3 days a month in there just to get away from the rice paddies.
