Hello, I'm looking for a gym in Udon that has heavy bags (boxing) I can workout with, not necessarily a muay thai gym just a gym which has a few bags. Anyone know of anywhere? Thanks for any info.

I've been to several gyms as a member in the UTH area, and I don't recall ever seeing any heavy bags other than at Muay Thai training centers.
There is one gym between the Night Market and BKK Hospital that MIGHT have one. Other than that, can't help you. Good luck.

Why not take a look at the Physical Educational Collage, UD Map F15, for sure it will be the cheapest. If you like a more luxerius place you have the Fittness First at Central Plaza.

It has, also, the added benefits of being spacious, quite well equipped, with seldom more than one or two people using it, is quiet, and your visitors payment includes, ( I think it still does!), use of the swimming pool. But beware, as regards the last mentioned facility, because bedlam normally reigns late afternoon/early evening, at which time kids swimming lessons are in full swing!

Have you been there recently.
I stopped going when the Frenchman gave up the concession on the swimming Pool/Restaurant Facilities etc.
If it is now in good hands again I may well go back as the food etc was very good quality & a nice place to relax after playing golf at Namsangrom golf.

My gym (Ban Chiang) is still closed, but I understand Fitness Corner and 9D Sports are open. Any updates on other gyms in town?

That's good news. Did she mention that all equipment is available to use or are there restrictions?

All equipment is available but social distancing is required while using it. Masks are not required while working out but should be worn otherwise. Temperature checks are mandatory when entering the facility. Group sizes are limited when exercising (body step, body combat, Zumba etc.). Can enter with member card at 06:00.
