professional reel cleaning/repair

Post by sgt » September 5, 2018, 5:48 pm

I've cleaned what I can on my Quantum IRON but it is need of professional cleaning, new drag washers, beyond my pay grade. I do not want to have to send to the states, cost of postage and my mail from America has been disappearing, especially anything in a package or from government. Does anyone know of a trust worthy, yea I know over here a far stretch, place that can professionally clean my reel?

Thanks

I do not know if Shado still posts on here, but i do remember he had some tackle repairs done a few years ago, and was happy with the results ....

Try contacting him.

I've used this shop for rod and reel repairs / cleaning. The sign above the awning just says ตกปลา (tok bpla) = fishing. They have some repair parts but it may be hit and miss if you need replacements. If you cross the railroad tracks on Pho Si/Nittayo Rd. headed towards Makro/Big C, turn right at the first stop light at the Soi Nong Bua/Soi Pracha Santi intersection. Go about 300 meters down Soi Pracha Santa and it's on your left. The owner speaks very good English.

Junction to fishing tackle shop.
