7-11 Stamps for High Grades

Post by parrot » July 16, 2014, 3:48 pm

Over our obligatory morning cup of coffee and tea, my wife and I were talking about the teacher (university) caught on a smartphone chastising her students for reporting her to higher ups.....for offering a higher grade in exchange for 7-11 promotional stamps (anyone out there still think smartphones are worthless?). My wife commented that things haven't changed much since she was a village student (many many moons ago).....when her teacher offered a mark up if a student brought her/him an egg the next morning.

This is training for the real world! In most of the world employees have to curry favor with their bosses either through bribes or ass kissing. There are some teachers who require students to take their special class to learn the material needed to pass the exam. In most other places if you looked at student grades they would plot as a bell curve not here it is lineal. Each student is seperpated from the student above and below by a decimal point.
