Hi,
U.S. people did not invent the A bomb. They may have producted the first a bomb, using Germam scientists, and their knowhow.
They did not invent the radio, radar, T.V., motor car, ejection seats, rockets, jet engine, and many many more useful things.
It reminds me of the time in the 1940's when the U.S. asked Britian to tell them how the jet engine worked. The agreement was the U.S. would tell the British the info, they got fron the German's, as to how the a-bomb worked. I won't tell you who renaged on this, but it was not Britian.
Also have a visit to some old Roman ruins. You will see central heating and a lot of other things invented before the U.S.A. was even formed.
By the way the flush toilet, as it is today, was invented by a British man with the name of Crapper. I kid you not. Check it out.

On topic; many posters have made and issue of Romney being a Mormon and therefore some kind of nut job and even gone so far as to call the Mormon religion a cult.... but, as probably many of you loony lefties from across the ponds don't know, the beloved High Loon Harry Reid, Senate Majority Leader, is a Mormon. But of course he gets a pass because he is the top stooge for the Obama administration. If you are on the left, anything goes. If you are on the right, your a nut job and don't deserve to exist and should be terminated..... Where's the love?

I'm not a Romney fan, but I don't see anything wrong with the quote.

Quite a bit diffrent than what Asiapile's thread title reads.

I was down the pub last night talking to Dai Marbles. He told me that it was true.

This started Jone the Bible off, saying that it was all the work of the Devil !
Turbo Thompson then said that if he was God. He could of created the world in six days.
Dai Daps cauld TT a liar, because he was faster than TT and it would take him six and a half day to do that ?

As it was quieting down then No Balls Newby stuck her six penneth in. Saying that she believed in the immaculate conception, as one of her children does not have a father. She does not remember who or when it happend.

Back on topic, if those qualified to lead do not then those less qualified will. Same principle applies to nations as well I suppose. If you think a nation is more qualified to be world leader than the United States then let them prove it (no not militarily, thats asking to much from any nation). Let them show that they can wield more economic, diplomatic, social, and cultural influence on the world stage than America can.

America is not the greatest country on Earth by virtue of being America, it is that way because its people have made it so...and nobody else is currently in a position to dispute that.
