Wood flooring finish recommendation

I built a smallish (5m x 5m) lanai built over a fishing pond with a new wood floor made of 1x8 inch planks, parts of which are exposed to the elements.
What would you suggest as a good finish to apply that would be long lasting and require little maintenance?
I’m not into the “over the top” high gloss finishes the locals like, but would prefer more natural finish.

Thanks in advance for any tips and product location.

A Couple of coats Exterior grade Polyurethane varnish (available in stain or matt finish) should last a few years - it all depend on the type of wood you used.

Huh??
Never heard of such a thing. I'll have to do some research on this one.
Any idea where it can be purchased?

Not to sure where to get the 'Sadolin Yacht' in Udon but I would start at the paint shop opposite Global, they are or were good, we have been using it for a couple of years with the matting agent as the client also doesn't like gloss, we tested six different products over an eight month period before we selected the best, for a floor or deck the Sadolin Yacht was way ahead, for a fascia or timber not getting foot traffic or wear but full exposure to the elements a product called 'Osmo' was the best.

I would suggest wax finishes. Wax is the oldest and most traditional finish used for wood floors, and it still offers many benefits. It’s highly practical inexpensive, long-lasting, a breeze to apply and quick to dry and allows for easy repairs. Wax finishes require occasional buffing and reapplication.
