Well, personally, it was not the pictures that disturbed me it was the complete mass of lies & deceit that the site contained.
Unmitigated crap to do nothing more than pursue a fascist & racist agenda.

Mandela was what he was & spent a considerable time in prison because of it.

now you keep bringing George into it, he was a soldier, and after a declaration of independence and war was delivered to England, after all negotiations failed, and civilian protesters were gunned down, unarmed, then yes, a fight for independence ensued. just as every other colony of the Empire did, before and after. did he go thru the neighborhoods killing every unarmed loyalist from town to town, i don't think so. though sure it may have happened occasionally. you're comparing apples to oranges. did they go after the royal family like the IRA, I don't think so.

Civilian casualties are even harder to estimate. People who were not bearing arms died as the armies maneuvered, sometimes wantonly killed by troops, sometimes caught in the crossfire of combat.

Anyone who opened the link and was shocked at images should not have opened it in the first place - that is why I included in the title 'disturbing images' as sent to me. And no I have still not viewed it as I would not view images of something like the aftermath of the Bali bomb etc.
