Has anyone seen any 0000 steel wool here in UD? I can order but would naturally prefer a local purchase.

Not the Brillo soap pads, thanks anyway. I need the plain ole 0000. Used for polishing and or removing light surface rust from metals where you don't want to scratch the coating off, such as blueing on a weapon.

I've hunted high and low for it but all in vain, so I had it sent over to me from Europe.
I'll be very interested to know if you find it locally.

Not steel wool & not quite so abrasive, but might do at a push..

22 baht at most 7/11s in with the kitchen supplies..

A few years ago I bought at HomePro. Haven't had a need for it so don't know if they have in stock or not. Also, at the time they a few different grades.

Thanks Rito. I was going to run the gauntlet on all the DIY joints on one of my slow days (whoa, that's everyday) and see what I could find. I did check the gun store here in town but unless the wife translated wrong, they just looked at me as if I had a dick growing out of my forehead.
