Itchy ears - Thai style

Post by parrot » September 14, 2011, 10:09 am

Andrew Walker (BA (Hons) (Sydney), PhD (ANU)Senior Fellow, Department of Political & Social Change, School of International, Political & Strategic Studies) reviews the lyrics of a popular song by 20-year-old Nong Ja, a student from Suphanburi at http://asiapacific.anu.edu.au/newmandala/
The link to the video of the song is at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lkjbnjJlFDk

The video has been viewed just shy of 12,000,000 times.

Caution: While the lyrics are tame, the video is not. Of course, the Cultural Ministry is crying 'foul', but I'm sure all the ENT clinics in the country are getting a kick out of it.

And, since it's a rainy, soggy sort of day, keep those ears dry!

A different interpretation of the same song, by the same lady - if anything, even more of a caution than in parrot's link above.

And Val - Buddha must read UM, because the video above is in 1080p High Definition. :D

Is the WFB singer suffering from some sort of STD ? She seems to have an irritation she can't leave alone. Talking of irritations, have you noticed that there is always a drunk or maybe even sober Thai guy at the front of any WFB show being a pest ?

OT................... \:D/

Just to bump a favourite old, traditional Thai song - this time with (not very flash - but you get the meaning) English subs. :D

Good to be able to follow the lyrics.

Thanks for that Khun Jack. Ja Kunhoo has to be one of Thailand's top live performers. The folks at RSSiam have tried to tone her show down, but once she is away from them, she is at the top of her game.

This is from her first VCD,

And, the second is a closer investigation of ear and breast size among the dancers and Ja Kunhoo.

All lyrics, groans and moans are in Thai. lol

555. And if an older respectable Thai female such as a teacher bends over near you she usually places her hand over her cleveage even if she is so modestly dressed nothing will be displayed. But Thai music is much more raunchy ... :D
