They used to sell them in Tesco, but haven't seen them for about 10 years now

Have a word with Andy, I'm sure he has made them in the past for City Lodge etc ...... don't come in packets but if you ask nicely I'm sure he will stick em in one for you

Sorry Waz, never seen in Udon - more is the pity as I would buy.

Few places do English Muffins, which are nice enough, but not a crumpet!! :D

Ha, ha Waz,
I am happy to be (formerly) accused of chasing st/crumpet around Udon I am not so sure that I have ever knowingly chased the fruit variety... :D

Dean (PapaFalang) is probably your best hope of getting supplied with any of the above breads to be honest. I certainly have never seen in any of the 'usual' decent baking outlets in Udon...

i always thought the best bakery in Udon was called Fluid. Wazza was always going on about how they had the best crumpet in town. Come to think of it he also quite liked the crumpet at Share Bakery also.

I definitely saw crumpets somewhere, probably in freezer case at VM or Tops, but less likely there. As they caught my eye, due to a conversation about them elsewhere.

For fruit breads try the Japanese bakers, Yamazaki, bottom floor of the Plaza. Next to Topps..

Statts.

Crumpets are like Everton

Full of holes and no goals.

( my limit of EPL jokes)
