City 0 United 0
On possession alone City should have won 69%-31%......Aguero hit the post and Jesus had a goal disallowed thanks to divine intervention from the linesman !
But United also had a couple of chances in the first half.....Mkhitarayan,when Bravo made a hash of his first piece of action and Herrera with a header at the near post he put wide.
In his second piece of action, the luckless Bravo caught a cross, injured his calf when landing and had to be carried off....probably out for the rest of the season.
Fellaini let himself down and his team mates when he headbutted Aguero, right in front of the referee, just 20 seconds after being booked and was rightly sent off.
But the game should be remembered for a gallant rearguard action by Uniteds defence with de Gea,Bailly and Blind outstanding.
For me,it was a long 90 minutes....not really because of the quality of the game,as it was mainly just wave after wave of City attacks and looking inevitable that they would get a winner that didn't come.

Tonights matches.....
9pm Thai: Sunderland v Hull,Stoke v West Ham,Sunderland v Bournemouth,WBA v Leicester.
11.30pm Thai : Crystal Palace v Burnley.

And a potential footballing feast on Sunday including Everton v Chelsea (8.05pm Thai) and the North London derby between The Spuds and Arsenal (10.30pm Thai).
Also,Manchester United v Swansea (6pm Thai) and Middlesborough v Manchester City (also 8.05pm Thai).
Will Everton put on a bit of a performance to throw the title race wide open ?
Can The Spuds make a big dent in Arsenals top 4 hopes ?

The Monday match is Watford v Liverpool (2am Tuesday Thai).
Just when I thought our chance had passed, you go and save the best for last.

I know Sunderland need the points but, 2 home games on the same day!!

Maybe the FL will let Leeds do that this weekend - the only chance we will have of getting in the play offs.

I hope its Southampton v Hull or my FF team is in trouble!!

Good idea. Those 3 Boro players had become a problem. I was going to wait until GW36 to WC but decided to WC this week also. Should be an exciting finish to our leagues.

Harsh Scoreline at Goodison Park. However 0-8 Aggregate H & A indicates much room for improvement as my old Schoolmaster was fond of telling me!!!

We Collapsed after that 1st Goal ( Which HE Should never been allowed to get that shot in, We backed off far too easy,Then the less said about the Other 2 the better We are in Desperate need for a DECENT 'Keeper for next season,as well as another Midfielder than can score a few goals....And ANOTHER Striker who can take the weight off Big Rom who had yet another " Could'nt Be Ars*d " Game....The only ones that seemed " Up For it " Yesterday were Tom Davies & Gana Guyere......IMHO.... :( :( :(

Just back from a few days break in Loei and I would like to apologise to Sunderland fans for giving them false hope that they could get 6 points this weekend !
In fairness,Southampton play in the same colours and played like Sunderland on the day ! 8)
But Sunderland are down and Middlesborough look likely to be joining them, although they could have had all 3 points against Citeh.
Sundays games......United looked leg weary and Swansea were worth a point.....great free kick by Sigurdsson btw.
Like most neutrals I hoped Everton would put on a good performance against Chelsea to give a thrilling end to the EPL title race but The Toffees were very poor and Chelsea won easily in the end.
The Spuds were superb against mediocre Arsenal but I think the title is Chelseas now as they have a comfortable run in.
Last night.....Watford 0 Liverpool 1.....wonder goal from Emre Can and Liverpool look well set for a Champions League spot now......I think Citeh will edge Arsenal and United for the 4th place.

Fingers crossed Aaron Lennon is OK. Another reminder that mental health affects us all. Be kind.
Many of us in Udon know of a certain Glaswegian suffering from Bi Polar, not pleasant to see close up.
