free software is always limited in performance ,i am using kaspersky internet security what gives an excellent protection to your pc , saving money for 700 baht/yearly? , no thanks ...

I certainly do not agree with what you say about free software, kopkei.

There is, after all, a whole range of software & operating sytems available for Linux sources that is completely free & totally untouched by any worries of virus, malwear or ransomwear issues immediately out of the box.

As far as when people are running a brand of Windows...

The most important thing to remember is that it is absolutely essential to install updates on a timely basis. A combination of enabling free Microsoft Security Essentials with free Malwarebytes is probably enough security for most users. If you do have personal data that you wish to protect then downloading the free Anti-Ransomware software that redwolf mentioned elsewhere will provide 'belt & braces'.
Of course the age old solution of always ensuring that you regularly back up your data still remains the most vital piece of protecting your data - again, free, once you have bought the medium to back up on..
