I think it's 2020 when bkk bank accounts will only be covered for 1,000,000 baht by the government in case of collapse.and lets face it they aren't one of the most honest establishments...remember cypress and what happened there.kept the doors shut and helped themselves to everyone savings.also having two accounts with the same bank won't work either,they've planned for that already.retiement,800,000b and that's it.if you told the government it's cheaper to put square wheel on all the buses they would do and think about it next week.
