The forest was shrinking daily but the trees kept voting for the axe as its handle was made of wood and they thought it was one of them.

Only made one visit to Bintabat this trip 747 ....... watched Saturdays games at Soi 80 with a guy from Huddersfield, and watched Sundays games at a different bar on Soi 80 with the other Thailand Toffee fan and a Man U fan :lol:

If your hiring a car , a great border market 60 odd kms south, near Prachuapkirikhan is worth the trip at weekends,

PraChuapKirikhan has what I think is the best seafood restaurants by the beach in Thailand ! prices 50% cheaper than Hua Hin.

Lots of well priced hotels and guest house style rooms, and again cheaper than HH , but a mile

Was at various beaches all last week and only saw one dead fish and a couple of doz dead jellyfish get washed up, which is about the norm for visits in the past

Thai Happy Taxi provide very good service to Hua Hin at 2,200 Baht.
