Just back from the latest sourtee to Bkk and Isaan ... and pleased to say the UTTH is again fully stocked with just about all we can offer , a couple of core products still missing but back next trip ... Belhaven cream flow stout in widget can and also Old Speckled Hen in Cans .

With all the recent tax changes now resolved .. we are now cooking with gas .

Lots of new products entering the market , some being revamped some dropped , good news our draft prices have not changed as the increase was minimal due to the one way eco kegs we use being favourably looked on by the customs department.

Our chef has turned out to be a real star n producing some excellnt dishes ... now in full swing witht he Thai n Tapas sections of the menu WITH THE STEAK N GRILL BEING ADDED LATER THIS MONTH .

As ever all welcome to drop by browse or buy IF YOU WISH TO DO SO .

The UTTH beer garden is now getting used quite a lot .. must be the weather ???? ... very busy day yesterday and a nice accleptic mix of both Thai and Expat patrons ... excellent reviews on the Tapas and Thai food menus so looking forward to getting the steak n grill menu up n running hopefully next week .... including the super tasty juicy Robins Island Wagyu burger .

Dao has added some food pics on TUTTH face book page via the link below or click on the Tap / 3DM banner on the home page .

AS EVER ALL WELCOME TO DROP BY BROWSE OR BUY....

Things seem to be getting back to normal bizz wise after last months events ... a noted up turn in patrons both Thai and expat , notably expats arriving for their winter break here n stocking up before going to nevernever land .

Strange but true and some may scoff at the thought ... we do get numerous requests for ALCOHOL FREE BEER .. and peased to say the German brewery Hacklberg has come up with an excellent one JAKOBI WEISBEER ALCOHOLFREI .. now in store and on promotion as a market test .. buy 2 get 1 FREE includes drink in and take away so can try it before you take the promo offer home !!!

DRAFT BEER PRICES WERE REMAIN UNCHANGED SINCE THE NEW TAX INCREASES , SOME BOTTLES SAW A SMALL INCREASE but nothing to make the most keenest cheap charlie nip his arse cheeks .

Fully stocked will all core imported beer products and several newbies ... walkers snacks etc .

The Thai Tapas menu is going very very well with excellent customer feedback ... will be adding the steak n grill menu in the next week or so as the beef arrives .

As ever ALL welcome to drop by browse or buy , check out images etc on the Udon Tap Taste House face book page via the link below or click on the TAP/3DM Banner on UM home page .

Will be nice to see you ..... AND YOUR BULGING WALLET !!  lets hope its not so large when you leave !!

We chose to close down the 3DM website as the more stringent re enforcing of the alcohol advertising laws on the internet meant it wasnt much good to us ... with reference to 3DM tiz our experience good old word of mouth is getting us customers all over isaan ... find one good venue in a province and soon all the other venues around them want the same products as them and hey presto ... weve got another large regular delivery to a good area.

Thankyou for the information....actually i want to delete the 3dm website signature line from my posts but dont know how to do it .

Nice solid day again yesterday , low foot fall but good spenders makes for a pleasant steady but profitable day .

The Alcohol FREE beer Hacklberg Jakobi Weisbeer Alcoholfrei was sampled n bought by some Thai patrons and also one designated driver drank it while his buddies got bladdered. ... for lovers of real piss we also have the Hacklberg EX Caipi LAGER N LIME in 33cl bottles and Jakobi HELL wheat in 50cl .

Again excellent feedback on the chefs handy work with the TFFP ... Tap Finger Food Platter being the pick of the crop , that said all the Thai dishes are selling well , PLENTY OF PICs ON THE FACE BOOK PAGE .

Friday was super busy with a big party reservation ...whilst last night a little quieter but still ok ...

Our Thai Fusion and Tapas section of the menu has been very popular from the outset and still the Tap Finger Food Platter is the top seller along with the spinach bacon n cheese spring rolls.

NOW ADDING ON TO ABOVE .....pleased to say we have served a few dishes from the new added STEAK N GRILL MENU ...which is still really in the test refining phase .. last night after the last of the Cape Grim 990 bt sirloins cuts were sold we moved onto an 300g Argentinian Tenderloin steak which all be it more difficult to cook turned out great and at 1200 bt well received by the 2 tables that chose them .

Also being added to the grill menu will Pork chop , Smoked pork chop , Gammon , NZ Lamb steak and Salmon steak .. we have decided to add a rotating THAI FRENCH steak cut onto the menu as well as an IMPORTED STEAK CHOICE .

As ever thanks to all who have in the past and continue to support our little beer shop SOON TO BE STEAK HOUSE near the airport .... our number of repeat n regulars customer base is growing nicely :D

ALL welcome to drop by browse or buy ... buy RETAIL from the Tap , WHOLESALE beer cases via the 3DM office and your speciality food requirements from the newly opened TIT butchers n imported food shop shop...ALL IN THE SAME CONVENIENT LOCATION WITH QUICK N EASY PARKING .

Check out pics images n promos via the Tap Face book page via the link below or click on the TAP / 3DM banner on the UM home page .

Hmmm. Not wishing to sound negative John, however ..... Are you suggesting that your Argentinian beef steak is priced in the restaurant at 4000 baht a kilo?

We dont sell by the kilo in our restaurant and i dont hink you can compare buying from a supermarket by the kilo to the on the plate restaurant prices .

So far we have served the following 2 imported beef steak cuts n nation of origin at the prices shown .... no complaints by our customers in fact very positive feedback . We intend adding Cape Grim Tenerloin , Ribeye , Rump and a NZ T Bone also ...on a rotating basis not ALL available at the same time .

Argentinian 300g Tenderlion steak served in the restaurant is 1200 bt
Tazzie Cape Grim 300g Sirloin steak is 990 bt

Anyone that doesnt think these prices are in the ball park area for a nice restaurant setting serving high end premium imported steaks obviously doesnt fall into our business plan demographic ..... to add I deliver our imported beverages to numerous pubs n restaurants all over Isaan and often see much higher prices than this .... try the steak houses in Bkk where the above would cost you way more ++++

TO add ....

Just followed up with a price check / breakdown ... and allowing for the initial cost price of the premium CG imported steaks which varies between 500 - 800 bt per pc PORTIONED CONTROLLED and DELIVERED .. depending on cut , size of cut and nation of origin ..factor in salaries of chef , service staff washer up etcetc plus AC environment ... this equates to the restaurant just falling into our base profit margin percentage ..... so

100 % .... IM STANDING BY OUR TAP IMPORTED STEAK PRICES ... and

Of course theres always going to be the option for customers to choose a less expensive Thai French steak.

It makes you wonder, there has been a few "New Member" posts in different parts of forum that are negative/complaints on first post. Me thinks tbere is a troll or two around.
