As long as it's not more deep-fat-fried fish and potatoes, or mystery-meat pies drowned in watery gravy, I'm interested.

I used to go to Taco Bell in the UK and I agree to a point with randerson, but to be fair I always found the food good, not great and it’s served very quickly, it’s the same argument as Pizza Hut, you’ll always get the people who don’t like it but you can’t argue with the business model, there’s an awful lot of Taco Bells around the world which proves they’re doing something right, I hope they open in Udon.

Yes, agree.

It's good for a once-a-month fix for me. Looking forward to it.

Wish there was a Wendy's on the way, too. :)

For those who may like Taco Bell, just remember their offerings in Thailand may not be the same as U.S/UK. For example I think their big seller may be a fish or other seafood based taco.

I like Mexican fast food. I always assumed that there was some unique Mexican herb or spice that made it taste different. When I just google "Mexican seasoning" I found nothing strange. As a matter of fact I have all these ingredients in my kitchen seasonings collection. The are:

Easy Homemade Taco Seasoning
2 teaspoons Chili Powder.
1-1/2 teaspoon Ground Cumin.
1/2 teaspoon Paprika.
1/2 teaspoon Crushed Red Pepper.
1/2 teaspoon Salt.
1/4 teaspoon Garlic Powder.
1/4 teaspoon Onion Powder.
1/4 teaspoon Dried Oregano.

Well legal Mexicans can own Mexican restaurants, I believe you trying to compare apples and oranges, just not the same thing, For those who qualify joining the Army would get you in legally unless something has changed in the past years. How about we do it the Thai way prove you can pay for your own needs and not be a burden. after you qualify show up every 90 days and tell them where are staying. I do that and don't complain.

actually there used to be a program that was good for the U.S. and Mexico, A work visa they would come work in agriculture when the season was over they would return to Mexico with cash in their pockets.

How about that approach

Strange that a foreigner in Thailand doesn't understand the distinction between being in a country legally and being a criminal. Probably got his extension from a dodgy back-room passport stamper for 20,000 baht in Pattaya and thinks that's OK.

Absolutely right. Seeing as Pepsi owns the brand, along with Pizza Hut and KFC, it's little wonder. Now Thais get to be inundated in poorly executed faux Mexicaqn fare much like Americans have been in the past. If they weren't getting fat before they sure as hell will now.
