What’s theBEST FILM so far that you have ever seen
Re: What’s theBEST FILM so far that you have ever seen
Deep Throat? I was rather disappointed to find it wasn’t a nature documentary about giraffes. I had to watch it a few times to make sure
May the bridges I burn light the path in front of me

hi LS I also do not wish to carry this on it was just meant to be a little tounge in cheek knowing your views on gun control however hitting back at me saying I am used to prison when I have never posted anything about such matters seemed a little harsh probably shouldnt have responded as you say we dont have any beef with each other so lets not carry it on
good afternoon

Bet You've seen ALL of those Numerous Times " Eh ??stattointhailand wrote: ↑June 25, 2018, 3:56 pmHave to say I'm getting a bit concerned that most of Udon's finest seem to have a serious Violent Scycopathic streak when it comes to movies I'd have expected to see more votes for Debbie Does Dallas, Emmanuelle and Deep Throat

Kes for me specially the PE Teacher when they play football.
Re: What’s theBEST FILM so far that you have ever seen
Orwell used the expression of "Good bad books" to describe books so bad they were good. Likewise there are those movies that are simply what I call "popcorn" movies and not to be taken seriously at all. Simply a popcorn munching excuse to kill time without taxing the little gray cells too much. Every year they come out with a "best of" list and like every year before there is always someone chiming in on what was "left off". To which I say, "Dude!... WTF!" There are simply too many. And since we each see it differently than even the cat sitting next to us its a fools errand to even attempt a best of. It's pretty subjective as we can pretty much all agree. As a movie lover and someone who can't help but remember the tiniest details... a curse really... I'll lay down a few. No particular order and they're off the top of my head.
"Hostiles" with Christian Bale. Recently saw this on a flight over on EVA.
"The Revenant"
"Inception"
"The Missing"
"Drive"
"High Plains Drifter"
"Solaris"
"The American"
"The Long Good Friday"
"Total Recall"
"Casino Royale"
...
And the list would go on and on... suffice it to say there are a lot of good, bad and ugly films out there. And it doesn't appear to be slowing down.

Maybe not the best, but certainly one of the better entertaining films of recent times - The Wolf of Wall Street
That's one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind.
