NRL AFL Finals, RUGBY-Jingjoes AUSSIE BAR- Udon Thani. (Sponsor)

Bad luck Eric losing by 1 point to the Storm, 29-28. I was hoping as you were that the Rabbits could get up, a great hard and tough game, thoroughly enjoyable.

Today my Panthers go up against your other team, the NZ Warriors in NZ, I don't know about this one, could go either way. And your National Rugby team ( ALL BLACKS) up Argentina and in NZ. How is the weather in NZ btw, great here in Udon.

And hoping the Magpies can knock over the West Coast Eagles and Giants knock over the Swans, yes indeed a great weekend for sports.

Really enjoying the NRL playoffs, so far I think its the best series for a few years. Warriors the first team to bow out of the playoffs with the loser of Broncos/Dragons today to join them.
The weather here the last 10 days has been crap maximum 11c. Missing Thailand so much.

Rob

As usual I have studied my Nostradamus journal and will call it as it will be come GF day.

Sharks (Thats the area where i grew up and played league) VS Roosters, you wouldn't get a bigger bunch of cocks.

Goodluck with the crowds in your place for both codes.
Get no live coverage here in Dubai, but I can stream the radio.

This year will do for the rabbits.
Sweltering 23c in Wellington today but more cold weather in long range forecast Rob.
Was hoping your Panthers were going to get up last week.
Sharks look pretty wounded atm.

Youve got your wish Rob Storm v Chooks GF. Too many side issues for the Bunnies the last two weeks. But if I was offered third placing at the beginning of the season I would've taken it.

How did you go 'Streaming the radio' Barney, yeah good one lol.

Panthers were not good enough Eric same as the Sharks. I do feel sad for the Rabbits and their fans, they are a great family oriented club and hoped they could have made it, but like you said, too many sideline issues and they were not thinking straight. So I had to go for the teams that were in the right frame of mind. Roosters will be the GF winners this year.

Pity about the Richmond Tigers, Magpies were much too good and hoping they can knock off that team from Western Australia.

I often "stream" the radio for the AFL. I go to www.afl.com.au and it offers links to various Aussie radio stations commentating on the games. I usually choose Triple M.

I hope the Pie supporters don't cause too much trouble this weekend. I hope the Sandgropers win.

Tomorrow (Sat) the Magpies will run rampant over that West Coast Mob.

Sunday, the Sydney Roosters will blast the Melbourne Storm into oblivion.

Good win by the Kiwis. The Kangaroos are like the All Blacks don't lose very often, but when they do it is good for building the game.

It certainly was a good win for your Kiwi mob Eric, and I am happy for the Kiwis, good for the game. I give full credit also to the Aussie coach's and players who taught the Kiwis and rest of the world how to play tough rugby league.

The Aussies have lost their leadership players and will take time to rebuild, It better happen quickly before the Aussies play Tonga next weekend, the Tongans might get away with this one also.

And the Kiwis are travelling north to have a go at the Poms. The Poms have a good team and could be hard for the Kiwis but I am predicting 2-1 to the Poms.

The ABs playing the Wallabies in Japan in a couple of weeks. Big prediction for me is the Wallabies will win this game provided the ABs miss their plane in NZ and forfeit the game.

Besides gridiron and ice hockey, the Aussies and Kiwis have the best and toughest Rugby and League sports on the planet.

Lol, Don't think there will be much chance of ABs missing the plane, but I do remember about 5 years ago 1st five Aaron Crudon missed a flight to the northern hemisphere because of a liasion night before takeoff. Wins against the Kangaroos don't happen very often mainly because the great depth of Aussie league. Until recent years Kiwis would have to get players out of local NZ league, or reserve grade NRL. Luckily things have changed a bit now and there is a wee bit of depth but wins against the Roo's will still be few and far between.

The Kiwis never have experienced coaches, so to be able to get Michael MacGuire was great. Remember last years fiasco David Kidwell! MacGuire spent three years coaching in England and won a Challenge cup and Premiership before getting the Souths gig winning the NRL in 2014. In saying that the poms are a good side under Wayne Bennett, I remember world cup final last year, took the Roos to 6-0.
