I see a former Australian professional rugby league player has recently been charged with murdering his wife 36 or so years ago. Has a top class footballer in the UK been in such bother before? I'd guess yes.

Only Gavin Grant who played for Bradford but murder was committed before he became a footballer

Tony Kay of Everton was jailed in 1964 as part of the betting scandal.
Later in life he spent 12 years in Spain to avoid arrest for selling counterfeit diamonds.
But heres one for GT,Evertons leading fan on the forum....
Theres a strong rumour that Cenk Tosun will be allowed to rejoin Besiktas in January after failing to impress Marco Silva.
Whats your view on that one ?

Couldnt for the life of me see a reason they would want him back ....... then noticed they have Vagner Love.

Be fair though zid, Tosun does have one thing going for him .......... he appears to understand the offside laws =D> ....perhaps Chelsea should bid for him :-k

It's amazing how many so called world class players (well that's what they say at time of signing) fail to adapt to the Premier league and get sold on quite quickly at a loss to the club not the player of course who gets a cut of the transfer fees

Currently media are suggesting Newcastle want to break their transfer record (99p) for Almiron from Atlanta Utd Too much smoke not to have at least a little fire, but its like taking someone from League one (MLS Standard) and expecting him to perform immediately in the Prem ........ it is exceedingly unlikely to happen .....it can happen (Deli Ali) but few and far between.
I suppose as a supporter you have to hope for the best and hope your scouts have checked that the target was not born offside (unlike Morata)

"Crystal Palace were forced to close their kitchen following a mouse infestation."

Not entirely unexpected as they were bound to be attracted by the non stop squeaking provided by Zaha about needing protection from referees [-X

No, he's not. This is just a ploy to stir things up like his admiration for all things Izzix, Vlad and 747. I am sure you know that already.

Easy Saturday for Everton supporters they can relax and put their feet up as no chance they will lose this Saturday. The following 2 Saturday so they have Man C and spurs so will be squeaky bump time again. Match of the day should be Chelsea v Man C

We should send a petition to the Premier League demanding that they stop these 3am KO's. If they genuinely want to grow their worldwide audience they should be made to consider the fanbse in Thailand and the rest of SE Asia :sleepy:

But all the local hoons (and hoonettes) with their bought-and-paid-for Chelsea/Liverpool/MUFC bling and car paraphernalia don't mind using the time difference as an excuse to stay up all night watching live EPL in all the bars and nightclubs that the socially-challenged English coffin dodgers couldn't talk their way into even if they wanted to.
