Tops now using paper bags?
Tops now using paper bags?
Was in Tops, Nong Han at the weekend and was pleasantly surprised at the checkouts, no more plastic carrier bags but large and strong paper sacks. Is this just a local thing or a Tops general policy now? Either way big 'Well Done'. Every little helps especially here in the Land of Plastic. Might cause a few problems for the scooter drivers though especially during wet season.

Sunday evening, Tops in Udon Central Plaza was still using plastic bags. Would like to see paper everywhere.

Come to think about it it was Friday the 4th ( bloody Dementia is getting worse) Will check again this week to see what has happened. Just a heads up for anyone travelling east to Knog Han or further down. Roadworks at Hong Han traffic lights are causing up to 30 min delays to get through.dunroaming wrote: ↑January 8, 2019, 8:43 pmTeach use paper but only the 4th of each month to honour an individual

Sounds like a great idea ...... how much per rai are they paying farmers to switch from Rice/Rubber/Palm oil to paper production trees?
