Transfering from Old to New Passport

Does anyone from Udon area know if it is possible to transfer a visa from an old to new passport at Nong Khai border as my new passport does not arrive tilll sat evening and I do not wish to pay an extra days overstay plus udons 500 charge

No you can not.
You have to go to Nong Khai Immigtation.
I was turned back at the border & told to go to Immigration to change it.
They were very helpful & no extra 500 baht.
The told me the service was free when I asked how much.

Thanks Mike I am guessing it will make no difference with it being a Sunday will just have to swallow another 500 for the overstay

Actually they charged me 20 baht for 4 Photocopies.
Copy of old & new Passports.
Copy of TM card & old visa.
Can't remember if photo was required as already had them.
