Sea level changes over the last 20000 years about 125m rise
over the last 8000 years 5-10m of that 125m rise
the last 300 years about 0.4 of a metre

More Arctic changes ....
A rapid climate shift under way in the Barents Sea could spread to other Arctic regions, scientists warn.

The Barents Sea is said to be at a tipping point, changing from an Arctic climate to an Atlantic climate as the water gets warmer.

money talks. You'd think that if this is such an imminent crisis that it would seriously affect seaside city bond ratings.. Miami's last public bond rating by Moody's is A2. https://www.moodys.com/research/Moodys- ... _905572069

Depends on your definition of Imminent. As some of these bonds expire in 5 years, any increase in risk is minimal. But 100 years, and could be a real issue. Some insurance companies are already factoring in sea level to house insurance, but hey, insurance companies always like an excuse to raise premiums or not pay up.

Money may well be talking.

Miami taxpayers would appear to believe that there is an “imminent crisis” as nearly half of the $400 million total of the “Forever Bond” that they voted for in November 2017 is for anti-flooding pumps, seawall improvements, drainage upgrades and other adaptation projects in the face of sea level rise.

Ashamed to be English since 23rd June 2016 when England voted for racism & economic suicide.

Disgusted that the UK is “governed” by a squalid bunch of economically illiterate, self-serving, sleazy and corrupt neo-fascists.

Miami has and needs those civil engineering projects regardless of any possible sea level rise. The major flooding from recent hurricanes highlighted those needs. Doubt the Miami taxpayers are worried about any alleged global warming predictions. Thailand, and Bangkok in particular, need the same type structural investments. The is little reason to be alarmed by warmist's fear mongering.
