I have just returned home from one of my thousand plus visits to Tesco. At the checkout my bill came to Bt 770.25 and I tendered a 1,000 baht note. The change due was Bt 229.75 but I was actually given Bt 230
This has NEVER happened to me before. There is usually scrabbling around to find the 25stang so that Tesco is not short.
I am so overcome by this unique experience that I wish to share it with you all - and hope that you too might be so lucky.

You must reserve this day in your calendar to be marked down in history the times I set off to Tesco with my pile of 25 50 setang coins still sat on my table at home and curse loudly when it allways comes to an uneven number so more coins keep getting added
Re: A 'First' at Tesco
You should have offered the cashier 1000.25, but this off course would have involved 2 more cashiers and the store manager trying to calculate the amount of change to give to you.
