Now the others, Town Cities in the US who have $3 Billion lying around can give Amazon a call and get 25,000 jobs for their hometown. There a celebration rather than condemning people

As for New York and all the Senators and Governor and 81% or whatever and whoever else had the lollipop taken away forget it and move on as you have had your 15 minutes on CNBC, FOX, Huffington etc

Why is no one from Amazon getting lambasted for pulling out?
Your comments indicate that you really don't understand what is going on with this and the criticism that has been laid at the feet of Democrat members of Congress who protested Amazon. I've provided enough information and sources -- even your own source (again) -- that explains why it is a big deal.

You also didn't watch the video (or at least understand what was said by the congresswoman) where all of the benefits were outlined (including about $27 Billion in tax revenue over ten years) for the State of New York, which is experiencing a severe shortfall in tax revenue.

Oc-Co Loco may have done her socialist movement a great favor -- big victory against a big corporation, but she also defeated New Yorkers who want a job (or better job). It didn't help New Yorkers, and she is a congresswoman from New York.

Have a great weekend, Mr. Doodoo.

So in the end LS someone else somewhere else will reap the benefits just not New York as of now. They will survive as they have for the past 350 years
As for New Yorkers or anyone else who are feeling financial hardship, MOVE and find a job, don't sit there expecting someone to come to your door and say Oh we have been looking for someone just like you
And as "for the State of New York, which is experiencing a severe shortfall in tax revenue." the other side of the coin is that they are spending too much and need to cut. I know in my situation if I aint got it I cant spend it and have to maybe suffer a bit
The answer is to stop blaming someone else and look at oneself and say what can I do. Quit spitting the dummy out and get on with it

Believe it or not, I agree 99% with what you have posted, but it's a straw man. None of it has anything to do with why Oc-Co Loco is being criticized.

Have a great weekend.

I don't comment on the woman because she single handedly didn't put this deal into turmoil and if she did then maybe she should be the President if she had all that power and persuassion

Remember Amazon had a BIG Hand in this and no one has said anything about them

No one said she did it alone. No one gave Amazon a pass. Have you even been reading this thread?
Oc-Co Loco tried to score political points for socialism with no intention to kill off thousands of jobs. But she didn't anticipate other socialists joining the fight and creating a political firestorm against Amazon.
What this lamebrain did was equivalent to a corporate employee contributing to wrecking a deal for the corporation and causing customers to lose money and opportunities. She works for the people in her district in NYC. She not only didn't act in their best interest -- or the state's best interest -- but she celebrated the result. All of that is on her.

Give me a break You expect someone to read all the crap that has been posted? Well I haven't as the ones I have reported on were not reported correctly in full

Do you think Donald reads all? I hope not
I had a Vice President of the company I worked for, say to a division you send me what every quarter a 100 page report? They said oh yes 2 -3 people each quarter work on it. He in turn said I don't want you to give me this I need a 2-3 page report so your (Engineers) are engineering and not reporting

I am not giving nor is anyone else giving Amazon a pass but no one has gone after them to say why are you withdrawing from the deal affecting 25000 jobs

As I said before I can give you your own "Lone Star Stuff' so we don't have to jump from subject to subject

Now she's got enemies everywhere.

Turns out Oc-Co Loco didn't even know the details of the Amazon deal and mischaracterized it to the public.

There was NO giveaway, as she told the public. The $3 billion mentioned in the deal was a tax cut. New York was allowing Amazon to keep its own money. In other words, if Amazon owed $23 billion in taxes, the company would only pay $20 billion.

Oc-Co Loco is a dumba55.

"Amazon will pay $0 in taxes on $11,200,000,000 in profit for 2018
Kristin Myers 8 hours ago"

"Declining tax revenue has only widened deficits, as national debt has ballooned up and over $22 trillion."

Need anymore be said?

Federal taxes paid or not have nothing to do with a NY state tax deal.

During the talks, the United States delegation focused on structural issues, including forced technology transfer, intellectual property rights, cyber theft, agriculture, services, non-tariff barriers, and currency. The two sides also discussed China’s purchases of United States goods and services intended to reduce the United States’ large and persistent bilateral trade deficit with China.
The meeting location shifts back to the US.

Actually, in this thread and believing you were following your now easily recognizable pattern of not reading (you have admitted this) and pulling unrelated information out of the air. I'll be more discerning and ignore any similar piles of Doodoo in the future.
