Overstay 29 years..Udon man...

Post by DuiDui49 » May 2, 2019, 1:36 pm

There are no excuse, so i am ready for all the negative answers. The only reasons why i decided to overstay was to take care my wife. Now she passed away few weeks ago and there is no more reasons to stay here. I am in Udonthani and i have just the funds for pay the overstay and for the bus ticket. Is been 4 days i no eat and drink only water. Of course i can also purchase my ticket back home: the biggest problem is my overstay: 29 years....what to do?

I honestly tell you that, probably, will be the first and last post here, but i read many times excellent advise for any kind of problem. Thank you

If you have overstayed 29 years, yes get to the airport for bt.20K. fine, but 29 years??? I doubt if you have a current valid passport. Sorry for negative post, hope all goes OK for you.

If he hasnt got a current passport, which is likely,he will need to get an emergency travel document before he can fly out of Suvarnabhumi.
After paying the 20k baht fine he will be banned from re-entering Thailand for 10 years....stored in the computer.
Hope it works out OK.

What about the house? He could certainly sell that and eliminate any money problems. After he has plenty of money, he can get temporary travel documents from his embassy and fly out after paying the 20,000 baht fine. No way he will ever be back so the house is no loss.

Could be an honest mistake. Perhaps he's just trying to nail down the requirements.

He'd need a bit of tea money to sort out his paperwork problems in Laos.

I'd be extremely surprised if this is not a TROLL post. 29 years really? This guy has had plenty of time to research and plan an escape or really thick as $hlt!

I'm rather surprised how generous and kind the posters on Thai Visa are being to the overstayer.

Where are the usual lock him up and throw away the key brigade posters? They are a big team.

A Frenchman living in Udon for 29+ years?
Surely someone must know of him.
If he needs urgent assistance I am happy to help with food or to contribute funds for his commute to The Fench Embassy.
His situation sounds dire if legitimate.

Well jumbo, why don't you read between the lines and get a bit of common sense!

Sick wife? Caring 24/7 over 29 years - no time to fulfill his legal requirements. Gimme a break! If not a TROLL, this guy has burnt his bridges and only concern is for himself ===== "Reading between the lines"

I don't blame them either! Just read ever word in the thread between the OP and responders and the story just became more unbelievable as it went on. Thinking he could just buy an air ticket and fly out of here without a passport among other things -- Is there anyone here in Udon who knows this guy?
