Hopefully Johnson hasn't misbehaved in Moscow hotels with Russian hookers and is free to chart his own foreign policy. I also hope he doesn't get a man crush on Kim Jong-un.
he has form from his oxford days for smashing up and running out of Indian restaurants without paying .ex member of the bullingham club ,but his bad ass is what we need to defeat the feckers in the EU .you need someone with big cojones right now

Ah yes, the infamous Bullingham Club. More than a few English tourists in Thailand behave as if they're applying for membership of the said institution.

I understand Prime Minister-to-be Johnson is facing a bit of bother in the English Courts and might be tried for telling wicked lies. It will be impressive if the English criminal justice system can put Prime Minister Johnson in prison much faster than the US can get Trump behind bars.

Google it -- without the rebates from the EU the UK were paying the 360 million per week. This had to be payed before any rebates could be refunded.

Besides Johnson, another future British PM might currently be a member. The club I know best from the telly is the Winchester Club. There were some members of that club who were slippery enough for politics.

The Winchester on Jomtien was legendary IMHO. Great food and cold beer.

...and some nice, slippery things too.

Wonder if Trump has seen this:

Ha ha. That's great. Johnson probably sings a different tune these days.

bojos court case has been dismissed as its vexatious says the judge

https://www.ft.com/content/d3be7ec8-890 ... cea8523dc2

The High Court has blocked a private prosecution of Boris Johnson on Friday and ordered that a criminal summons against him should be quashed after hearing that the case is “vexatious” and the “culmination of a politically driven process”.

Mr Justice Supperstone and Mrs Justice Rafferty announced their decision after hearing arguments in the High Court that the private prosecution over comments he made during the 2016 Brexit referendum campaign should be stopped.

Hopefully all sorted. I liked his cheeky statement about drug use:

"Boris Johnson has said he was offered a “white substance” at university, but none went up his nose because he sneezed. He said he has “no idea whether it was cocaine or not”."

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/20 ... ng-cocaine

I doubt Theresa May ever dabbled with cocaine.

I was about to open the link, then notice its origin.. 'Gaurdian UK'. A negative left wing rag that just tries to dig dirt on anyone who's views are contrary to theirs. Along with the Independent, their circulation stats or rather lack of circulation just says what people actualy think of them.

So, moving right along, what UK broadsheets to you recommend that we read for the whole, unvarnished truth?

Serious question. No need to be shy or precondition any answers with inferences about my preferences, political leanings or inability to see the wood for the trees.

Boris Johnson is the only Tory leadership candidate capable of beating both Jeremy Corbyn and the Brexit Party, according to new polling which suggests he would win a crushing 140-seat majority for the Conservatives at the next general election if he was elected Prime Minister.

The findings come as Mr Johnson launches his leadership campaign on Wednesday with the message that “delay means Corbyn”, warning Conservative colleagues the party will ‘kick the bucket’ if Brexit isn’t delivered by October 31.

"Delay means Corbyn." He needs a way to get that mantra across. Like on the side of a bus for example.

Lord only knows what he and his mates would get up to when making a quick bob or two if he were to ever be Prime Minister  [-X

"Ever since Boris Johnson used his executive power as Mayor of London to permit British Land to demolish more than 80% of the fabric of their Norton Folgate development site which sits entirely in a Conservation Area in Spitalfields, there has been an unruly climate of laissez-faire in the East End for the destruction of historic buildings."

I see Boris as a likable rogue but not really competent enough to be a prime minister. No doubt he will be very entertaining if he becomes prime minister. 8)
