"Phil Neville has been using sauna sessions to prepare his England Women side for the heat during the World Cup in France".

Come on guys ... be honest ... If you managed a womens team you'd have them in the sauna if you could get away with it
Think's 'a lot of female cricketers are gays' Do I want to be in a sauna with a stack of gay gals'? This thread could go anywhere.

Some very sad news from the lower divisions....
Leyton Orient manager,Justin Edinburgh, has died aged 49 just a few days after suffering a heart attack.
Only a few weeks ago he steered Orient out of the Conference as champions, back into the Football League and to the FA Trophy final at Wembley.
RIP
Just when I thought our chance had passed, you go and save the best for last.

Curiously, my current covert operation sees me in Perth for next Wednesday. Apparently, there's some semi-famous English football teams playing that night and the best tickets are about £100 with the nosebleeds around £73.

I reckon it could be a grand night out, no?

Yep, the mighty LUFC are playing some no-marks from Lancashire next Wednesday in preparation for their annual sprint to the top of the table by xmas.......and their plummet to 7th place by May.

LUFC one step ahead of the FA again.

FA have said that all grass roots football grounds must now contain a sin bin

Leeds have replied by saying they already have one ....... it holds about 40,000 and is called Elland Rd

Definition of sin:-

“an immoral act considered to be a transgression against divine law.”

Maybe it’s the other 91 clubs who are sinful as the good Lord is clearly a Leeds fan

Now there you go again, Statts. Everyone knows the definition of 'bin' is: No mister, you drink 6 beers sure, not 5. You mao too much. Pay bin now.

And apart from the good lord, her majesty herself is known to be a Leeds fan. Even on her Xmas day broadcasts, when she says "merry Christmas everyone", what she is really saying is - Come on you mighty whites. :D

MOT

ps. Shall we have a new thread for the new season?

Big big big game today in league 2.. First of the season n its SCUNNY V SWINDON .. DM feeling pretty confident that the Iron will have a good season .

BTW scunnies new home CLARET N BLUE kit is a cracker but the away green n orange is shocking.. sales have been so brisk for the home shirt 300 extra Pakis were bused in to the local factory in Isalamabad to full fill the order.. also avaiable on Adunyadhet rd Udonthani .
Claret n Blue all way thru .. Up the Iron

This guy at Hudddrsfilled just had to go...suprised he was still in charge at the start of he season ..

SCUNNY ..ar my beloved S unthorpe Utd .really are in a pickle n if they loose again today (they wont HOME BANKER) good old chairman Swann will.hVe some soul
Searching to.do . IMO Swanny has had his time at scunny n he should move on but no real.sign of being as hes just done a back.door deal.to re nsme the iconic mecca of the north Glanfird Psrk after one of his hotels in Blackpool .." The Sands Stadium " causing widespread distain with Iron fans ....so looks like hes not goin anywhere soon .
As i stated d in the past Graham.Alexander was an excellent manager who.went thru a bad run n paisd a swift price ..he should still be in charge IMO....but thsts history n tizz true scunny are nonsense at the mo...no passion players going through the motions ..just ...

Gonna be along hard season ..looking on the bright side id rather have Swanny than Ashley .. AND BRUCE =D> nif the mighty mapies loose today against Norwich which is a distinct possibility its gonna turn even more sour on tyneside ...

DM and Bruce coukd be next in the sack race ..

Peterhead off to an unsteady start in Scottish League 1 having drawn both their opening 2 games.

Fort William, after the celebrations of beating Nairn County 5-2 in the North of Scotland Cup at the start of the month are back down to earth with a bang having lost all 3 opening regular league games to date but the GD is only -11 so far.

Ashley wont sack cabbage face any time soon ........ There's nobody else who will except lower wages ..... in fact the only way to lower the wages would be to only pay when they win :-k
