I can't see anyone with half a brain blaming Trump for the stock market crash.
He is certainly helping it along by ridiculous claims

Statement coronavirus preparation is in place and everything under control: truth there has been the first case in the US unrelated to foreign travel. So it’s going to spread within the US

Calming Statement on day 2 after 2 X 1,000 point falls in stock market: result next day 1,200 point fall

Trying to blame the Democrats for exacerbating the fall!!!

Statement there will be a vaccine soon: truth from the CDC a minimum of 8 months before trials and 18 months before widespread deployment. Is that “soon”? Medically yes, but nothing remotely what people think of as soon.

Requiring that all medical information be vetted and approved by Mike Pence!!!

May 2018 disbanded the US pandemic response team to “save money”

Is he causing it? No.
Is he doing the best job to stop is? No
Is he making it worse? I know my opinion, you decide.

So now we're going to weaponize the Coronavirus and blame it all on Trump. I can't see anyone with half a brain blaming Trump for the stock market crash. Every market in the world is crashing. The Thailand SET went from 1675 to 1375 yesterday. Do you want to blame Trump for that too? S**t happens in the world that is simply nobody's fault, so get over it. Amy Klobuchar, Demo candidate, was on Fox News this morning with her town hall meeting. She was pointing fingers at Trump for bailing out of the Paris Climate Agreement and contributing to the dangerous effects of climate change citing the example of all the fires in California this year. It's a known fact that California's governor passed legislation to prevent the clearing of underbrush in the state's forests which allowed the fires to spread unabated, while they have confirmed that the majority of the fires were started by arsonists. Are we still going to stick to the argument that it's all Trump's fault now that we know the facts of the case? If you distort the facts and tell a lie enough times, you can have everyone believing it, and that's exactly what is happening with regards this smear campaign again President Trump. Just keep it up and you might just wind up with a Socialist/Communist in the White House and then you'll really have something to complain about. Be careful what you wish for my friends!
The fact of the matter is if the interest rates were still sitting at where they should be, the FED could do something to alleviate it. But he wanted interest rates as low as possible for his own self-serving purpose. And anyone with a half a brain would understand that. I guess you're one of the ones who want to give him credit for everything and blame for nothing.
So trump harassing the fed to drop rate would seriously save him on tax bills ? Quite normal behaviour in banana republics . Being a tremendous business man I would be disappointed if he didn't use his position
Not tax bills, interest payments on the millions of $ he and his son in law have on loans.
Oops sorry I forgot,so on top of handing a trillion out in tax breaks...and I'm sure somewhere he made money out of that, now wanting to reduce his interest payments. Fug me so al capone was a novice compared to this guy

So let me get this straight, people aren't spending money because of the COVID-19 virus, so the POTUS wants to give out additional tax cuts so people will spend some money. How in the hell does that make any sense?

No need for Americans to worry about anything, your POTUS had stated this is just a 'HOAX', go about your daily business.

Here is your problem, I don't think anybody here is blaming the POTUS for the COVID-19 virus and the stock market. You are trying to defend something that nobody is blaming somebody else for, typical paranoid Trump cult follower. The interest rates are too low for a "booming" economy. Him pushing the Fed to lower interest rates to levels that were not necessary to create a false economy and stock market puts the Fed and the US consumer in a position that there is nowhere else to go but down. It's the Fed's job to prepare for a situation like this, but because of his harassment and intimidation, the POTUS put everyone in position that there is no cure for. The stock market was due for correction anyway, the virus just expedited it.

When I first moved to Thailand in 2010, I soon discovered that this place wasn't the "magical kingdom" that I had envisioned it to be, and I developed a real dislike for the Thai people and their culture. The old timers on this forum know full well how I used to bitch and moan about how much I detested this place, but over the years I have come to realize that the Thais are not going to change to accommodate me, and the only one that has suffered from my negative attitude is ME! I could always return to the US, but that is no longer an option for me for personal reasons. Therefore, this is my new normal and my REALITY, so I have come to accept it as much as is possible for me.

Now, I said all that to say this....all you Trump haters out there are wasting your lives away bitching and moaning about Trump. He's not a bit concerned about all of his haters because it comes with the territory, and the only one that is suffering is you and your health from all the stress of hating. This coming election in November will give you the option to vote for a Communist or maybe the career do-nothing likes of Biden, but I have challenged all of you to admit that you will never vote for these fools and none of you have responded as yet. In your heart of hearts you know that these people would represent a bigger threat to America than Trump. Trump will be reelected in November, so why don't you just accept that this is your new normal and your REALITY, and stop all the moaning and groaning. Get behind your President and support him. You're only hurting yourself by continuing with your tirades. I detested Obama for 8 years, but I kept my mouth shut and respected the Office of the President. If I, the number one complainer on this forum, can do that, then you can as well. I'm finished arguing....you will not hear from me again on this matter!

LOL... According to you anyone who disagrees or has an issue with something, they should just shut up and take it. But you can get on here and insult someone because they say something negative about someone you are infatuated with. Doesn't that make you a hypocrite? If you kept your mouth shut when Obama was President, why don't you keep your mouth shut now? Food for thought.

Wait a minute. You support Trump. And you're certainly entitled to your opinion in that regard. But you seem to be suggesting that others should agree with you or shut up. Aren't they entitled to their opinions just as you are entitled to yours?

It seems like my point is going over everyone's head. Guess my analogy didn't register with some people. I'm not asking anyone to agree with me and I'm not telling anyone to shut up. If you want to trouble your own heart, then have at it. I'm simply saying that if one is not willing to vote for the insane Democratic candidates, and so far no one has admitted that they would so such a thing, and you're not willing to vote for Trump, then you don't have a dog in this fight. If Trump is reelected then there's not a thing you can do about it and you can't change a single thing, so what will be the point of all the moaning and groaning? You're not hurting anyone but yourself. This kind of hate will destroy a man from the inside out. There was a time when the country was divided on who they supported for President, but after the election we all got on board and supported the winner regardless of party. It's the American thing to do. If we continue to stay divided like this even after the election, it will tear our country apart. Trump won fair and square in 2016 and I predict that he will do the same in 2020. If one votes for Sanders, then more power to you, but don't complain when the country goes to hell in a handbasket.

You're not smart enough to say anything that would go over my head. That being said, you did state, because you didn't complain about Obama, that everyone should just take it and support Trump. I'm not sure of what your definition of shutting up means, but that is what you were saying.

We only seem to read that platitude from Republican supporters.

The truth, of course, is very different ........ which is easily borne out by harking back to some of the visceral posts on here when Obama was president - granted though, not as far as I can remember from you, sfg.

Our most famous, and prolific, far right-wing pundit declared on here (UM), shortly after Obama's initial election, thoughts very much aligned with what you wrote above - and then spent the next 8+ years trying to tear strips off him. :^o

So who, in your opinion, started all this social division, who continues to feed this social division, who thrives on this social division and who stands to gain the most from propagating it?

BTW, this in not a multiple choice question.

Cool, more cartoons. It's not Saturday morning yet.

So let's get this straight. Trump blamed the Democrats for the Dow dropping 3,600 points last week, patted himself on the back for it gaining 1,290 points Monday, who's he going to blame for it dropping 785 points yesterday? Got any cartoons for that scenario?

And on top of everything else, the Fed dropped the interest rates another 50 basic points, and it still didn't help.
