Oh, he will go. Of that there is no doubt. But, what he did was not a sackable offence unless you are someone who likes to blame. For those, maybe, a look in the mirror would be more beneficial

I’ve Just been watching the reporters hounding this innocent man as he gets out of his car, no social distancing the hypocrites.Looks to me like they’re flagrantly breaking the law, some jail time wouldn’t go amiss.
It appears many others, around the globe, see it differently.

Looks like Dom's mummy wants the press to know that apart from all this stressful child minding and lock down dodging, his much loved uncle had died in early April.

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/politics/20 ... ent-aware/

That should resonate with the hundreds of grieving souls who have been denied visiting their sick elderly in hospital or attending the funeral of a deceased loved one due to the recommendations that poor Dom was party to.

Well what do you know ........ the "attorney general" has just said that DC hasn't broken any laws

There we were, all thinking that sort of behavior only happened on the other side of the pond (Trump/Barr?)

Makes a mockery of any policing that will need to be done in the future

Hot tip from Cummings: if you're feeling rough and your eyesight has gone a bit weird then check it out with a 30 mile drive.

"Just testing my eyesight officer, oh and it's my wife's birthday."
"Right you are then sir, carry on."

What would have happened if he had been taken ill on his journey up to Durham instead of the next morning?
Emergency services at risk or perhaps car breakdown putting engineer at risk as she was ill and he had been in a situation that required him to immediately quarantine (which he did not do)

He felt ill so got out of the car and they sat on a bench for 15 mins at a time when everyone was being told that they could exercise but were not allowed to stop and sit down, you had to keep moving. If he was feeling ill then surely that was proof that he was not ready to drive back to London

He was worried about the safety of his wife at home because of people shouting etc outside his house. well he is entitled to security if needed (someone can check with met to see if requested or reported), which it wouldnt be as everyone else was in lockdown.. He wasnt worried enough to leave his wife in the safety of Durham when he came back though.

Thinks ? he may have stopped for petrol ........ I still remember where and when I stopped when I last went down sarf

Nobody in a city of 9.3 million people could have brought food to his doorstep in London, and no family (or even hired experts) could have been phoned to help if both he and his wife were ill (there is an 0800 number i everything else failed)
