On the other hand, those Korean soaps...
You have to live in Korea (South) to really appreciate how gorgeous, feminine and elegant, some of those Korean girls can be. The closest I have seen to the Korean girl in elegance and femininity are the Vietnamese girls.

They (K girls) really do carry themselves in a certain way. It's just eye candy in high heels \:D/ \:D/ and some are quite tall. Gangnam at night, its an experience, you are unlikely to see elsewhere.

Failing the live-in experience, sniff out some K-porn online.

You'll thank me for it.

Study based on a Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) data set of terrorist incidents indicates that the most significant terrorism threat is from white supremacists.

Back on topic, the repeated exhortations of the NHS's excellence may be questionable at times but this looks a bit grim, no?

The Putin presidency? Possibly. I like the photo as they're strolling together as mates in the same direction. In contrast Obama was making America great and kicking totalitarian arse.

The US, a very wealthy nation, is a loser state when it comes to public health. The world is building a wall to keep Americans out.

Even George Washington, once owner of 300 slaves, has been having his arse kicked in the big US papers recently. I read he went to considerable lengths to keep his slaves enslaved at a time when slavery was already seen as extremely morally depraved. He freed his slaves when he died but not before then.

Does this mean no more need for The Wall???
"Mexico closes border in Arizona as coronavirus cases in both countries surge"

Is this reverse thinking on Trumps part? Make it so unacceptble to come to the States that the other countries turn on you???

There is no doubt that Trump alienated many countries with his USA first program. Those countries were forced to give up their lucrative VERY favorable trade deals. It is a great advantage for the USA to have a level playing field. It should be obvious that the UN and NATO are full of overpaid appointed bureaucrats. Why should the US pay more than their fair share?

I agree that the UN is a waste.
As for the US paying more than their fair share one must look again
and say "I dont think so"
Now these figures are a year old but with the wy Old Donny has been spreading the cash around hw had owed the UN
"U.N. members owe $2 billion in debt to peacekeeping, U.S. owes a third"
Now that is a pretty good piece of change
And as of June 2020 USA is in arrears
https://www.un.org/en/ga/contributions/honourroll.shtml

So if USA wants to play the game they have to pay their dues and so far the UN aint seen a dime

The UN headquarters could be moved to Beijing or New Delhi if the US won't cough up.

Using a photo from The Washington Post, I'll name it "USA 2020":

The US has been protectionist for most of the last 100 years, there are highly restrictive regulations, tariffs and quotas in place, particularly for agriculture & metal imports. Free trade has never been a US policy. On top of that, internet and technology giants like google, Apple, Oracle and Microsoft use tax transfer mechanisms so they pay little tax in countries where they make large profits. Chevron is but one other example of dodgy tax arrangements.

Trump has threatened retaliation if any country changes legislation to force these corporates to pay tax in the countries where they make profits.

Now Asia is a manufacturing powerhouse, The USA is no longer a manufacturing superpower, it lags in quality and costs. Detroit iron has been below foreign manufacturer's build quality for decades, no wonder the manufacturing belt became the rust belt.

America's problems are of it's own makings in general, now I cannot see it recovering its leadership role.

Dodgy tax arrangements? What's wrong with arranging one's affairs to minimize income tax as long as it complies with the law? If Congress wants to change the tax law, it can.

Reminds me of when people say that someone charged with a crime got off on a technicality. Technicality? You mean the law?

one in compliance and not violate the statutes.

But you failed to mention that the laws are written for the benefit of the elites. That's what lobbyists are for among many other ways the system is completely rigged to enrich the super rich and well connected. Hardly analogous with a technicality.

The law is the law. Different people will have different opinions about whether or not a particular law is fair.
