Thanks for the heads up. Appreciated

I forgot to mention we’ve also got the SEA branch of the Newport County supporters club coming to celebrate their inevitable win as well.
We’ll be able to spill out into the recently vacated Robinson’s if he gets too boisterous
Robinson's is gone already???!!!
No.
There isn’t a SEA branch of the Newport County supporters club in Udon Thani either

Yes, the Catholic squad get just enough of these draws every season to stay afloat in the Premier League. But one year 747''s backup team,Tranmere Rovers, will replace the lacklustre Evertons.

Now now. The Toffees have on average served up 1.3 goals per match in the EPL for their fans. It's more than enough to make them a source of much joy for many a poster on the Map.

If your going to quote statistics there are 2 sides goals against per match is 1.27 not much different from 1.3

Seems to me my previous comments stand if they draw it's a win 😂

This is supposed to be the more serious and solemn analysis thread. I think you lads should be waving most of your red rags at 747man in the banter thread. :-k
Meanwhile around eight of your last ten posts have blathered nonsense about Everton or the Toffee's. So who's waving red flag for the likes of dezzer and his sad, repetitive laughter emoticons?

Where's the "stop being a c*nt" meme when you really need it?!

Or as 747 would probably advise, "get back in yer box!"
Getting a bit feisty in here 😂 😂 😂

Hockey is too boring. If the game ends in a tie, say 0-0, they have overtime to settle the dispute. If the game is still tied, they have a shoot-out, which is a ridiculous way to end a game. They picked up that nasty habit from soccer.
Good luck to your Goodison park lads this campaign. Let's see how many 0-0 draws they win.

Keep up LYM. We've spent a lot of money on some chaps who can find the back of the net. Preseason Everton supporters' hopes are high. By the way, I'm not Catholic.

During the 1950s and 1960s, Everton became known as the Catholic club mainly as a result of successful Irish players such as Tommy Eglington, Peter Farrell, and Jimmy O'Neill, as well as manager Johnny Carey. - wiki

The question of whether Everton, founded in 1878, has traditionally been the club of Merseyside’s Catholic and, in particular, Irish, communities is a contentious one with even academics who have looked into the issue apparently divided on the matter.

Clearly, Liverpool FC has a great many Irish supporters and loyalties on Merseyside itself are decidedly mixed these days with many families divided down the middle but there is plenty of anecdotal evidence that, historically speaking, the city’s Catholics were more inclined to become “Blues” and little firm evidence, it seems, to contradict the idea.

Natives of the city as diverse as Cilla Black, the protestant sociologist John Williams and the long-time Labour MP for Walton, Eric Heffer, have all suggested that that was the perception locally. Tommy Smith, the tough tackling Anfield hero who joined Liverpool in 1960 recalled: “Pop Moran (Brother James Quinton Moran, then headmaster at Cardinal Godfrey School in Anfield) even tried to turn me off football at Anfield – Catholics were traditionally Everton supporters and players, Liverpool were the Protestant team. Pop honestly thought that being a Catholic I wouldn’t be happy at Anfield.” - https://www.irishtimes.com/sport/soccer ... -1.1655070
