It happened statto ..

Morecambe 1 Newport 0 AET

A goal by Carlos Mendes (traditional Morecambe name) in the 107th minute enough to send them to L1 whilst Newport and the worst stadium in the entire FL stay in L2

well done Morecambe , they played consistently well and have been at the top end of the table all season.

Why is it that any Scots born manager with the slightest modicum of talent immediately heads south of the border

Per head of population, why does England continue to churn out an endless line of fundamentally useless ones?

ROFLMAO. Including the EPL, there are four leagues chock full of home-grown dross. Just look at the perpetual EPL/Championship yoyo fest. The smarter, richer owners eventually get themselves a Scottish overachiever or fork out for a foreigner rather than recycle the local jobsworths that get passed up for TV pundits.

Just waiting for Stevie G to get his first gig down south and stub his toe. Then the usual suspects will be defending him by saying that he was never, ever really tested at the gers anyway (which is pretty much the truth). He should have taken up Brechin's offer instead and maybe he could have stopped them being dumped out after 67 years in the 'seniors'.

Just reading the Lowland League have rejected Brechin's application to join them so now they'll be (rightly) in the Highland League. They've just sacked their (young Scottish dross) manager too. Probably are feart now of playing that powerhouse Fort William.

Derek Adams has resigned as manager of Morecambe just 3 days after leading them to promotion to League 1.
Word on the street is that he is going to take over at Bradford City and it was a done deal before the end of the season.

Australian coaches to the rescue again.

Having successfully resurrected English cricket only a few short years ago, another Aussie coach is heading north to the land where all genders wear a skirt - to resuscitate the Scottish Premiership.
Former Socceroos coach Ange Postecoglou has been confirmed as Celtic's new manager in the Scottish Premiership...

........ Postecoglou joins Celtic from Japan's Yokohama F Marinos, whom he coached to the J-League title in 2019.

Well knock me doon with a feather ... Sadly not Woy Hodgson but Scunthorpe United have made their first signing in the form of Alex Kenyon ..a battling midfielder who wasnt good enough at Morecambe ..,. its about time as most other L2 clubs such as Bradford , Walsall and even National League side Grimsby have been signing numerous decent players at a brisk pace .
Its a start but i cant see the Iron doing anything next season except getting relegated.

This stinks. Sheffield W fans, amongst others, must be livid having been relegated due to a points deduction.

Last year Macclesfield were deducted points after the season ended which got them relegated from the Football League.
Double standards everytime by the EFL.

Seems the timing of these financial irregularities cases is vital ..add on an appeal to buy more time to get a verdict and bosh .. any points deduction comes in after the new season starts so relegation is avoided .. the Sheff wed was also tied to a case from previous seasons years .. Derby will obviously time this to avoid swapping places with Wycombe.

The EFL are all bent so im sure a few free lunches etc will be in order...shame as WW gave it a good go at staying up .

Leeds did this in 2007. We lost 10 points after we were relegated to League 1 so it made no difference.

The EFL got their revenge by imposing a further 15 point deduction on us the next season which cost us promotion.

Reason no 10,843 why Leeds fans feel that the footballing authorities and, the world in general, are against us.
