555 !! The " Mighty " Whites.....DEEP in the Relegation Zone......

What a Cracking Match last night the Brentford v. LiVARpool,Thought the Reds***e Defence was All Over the Place,Even the " Great " Van Donk got run ragged by the Brentford Attack....
He did look a tad tired towards the end but since he's been on a sickie for the best part of 8 months, not a yuge surprise.

Meanwhile, in the grass roots, a cracking match at Morecambe earlier with the same scoreline.

Either I've got confused again and it's NOT Saturday, or someone must have kidnapped Niggles :yikes:
Hope he's not M O T with the rest of the Leeds guys (sick/ill/incapacitated)
or someone must have kidnapped Niggles.....Maybe the Sheffield Taliban 'Eh ?? :-k :-k
It couldn't have been the Sheffield Wednesday chapter as they are just a bunch of grocers and others who do not want to work on that day.

If we could sell enthusiasm, 747man would be seriously wealthy. I enjoy having Leeds in the EPL. It livens this thread up nicely. The Leeds supporters can be jolly good fun.

What the heck is wrong with Norwich City other than everything? One would have expected them to be ahead of Everton.

What is soccer? Never heard the term. Is it something like darts?

I think its a game that hockey players partake in during training sessions (in the car park in UK due to lack of snow and more usually in the changing rooms areas in US/Can)

In that case the English should take up soccer but instead of using parking lots they could make use of some of those pitches they have scattered across the land such as in Scunthorpe, Ipswich Town and at Goodison Park, Anfield et al. As far fetched as it sounds, the English might even begin to like soccer so long as they can avoid the dreary 0-0 tie matches.

I've never heard of hockey players training in car parks, nor that they would ever want to see snow during such training.

A very flat grass field, but these days more likely artificial turf, are the usual requirements.

Unlike soccer, where any old field of mud is unlikely to change the result of the inevitable 0-0 draw.

"'Ive never heard of hockey players training in car parks, "

One can only presume that you have never done any hockey training then, or for that matter attended any major hockey competitions (World champs etc)

And attended several internationals, mainly Australia v India. But also the Worlds played in Melbourne - thank you Ansett Airlines. =D>
